What You’ll Do

As a Senior Finance Manager of Sales and Commercial, you will be responsible for leading finance support for the commercial teams for Corporate Accounts, Joint Ventures, Independent Distributors, Ammonium Nitrate and Initiation Systems & Primary Explosives wholesale. Duites include:

Major responsibilities include management of the Financial Analysts responsible for all aspects of the monthly/quarterly/annual forecasting and budgeting process and analysis of monthly/quarterly financial results for JV/Independent and bulk and IS&PE product management tea Provide financial leadership to the Joint Venture/Independent team around business performance, forecast accuracy, tender modelling, pricing and commercial decisions Oversee the financial modelling of certain national customer tenders Strategic partner to deliver growth strategy Provide real-time market updates to key stakeholders Provide transparency and drive alignment across manufacturing and commercial teams Participate in the creation of the customer strategies, and the impact to the P&L Provide comprehensive variance analysis, including identification of gaps, trends and opportunities within the business and recommendations for possible course corrections necessary to achieve financial targets Drive increased forecast accuracy for IS/PE product lines Oversee and manage the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan and Analysis tools Model specific segments (such as coal) to be used as benchmark against forecast and budget Work with demand planning group to provide inputs for macro models Policy compliance for growth and sustenance CAPEX: including thresholds for IRR, NPV & Payback are achieved Ongoing retrospective review of actuals vs business case to ensure achievement of desired results

What We’re Looking For:

B.S degree with major in finance or accounting and advance degree required (M.S. MBA, CPA or CMA desired).  Experience within finance for large public companies and extensive interaction with senior level management. 8+ years of progressively increasing financial and management responsibilities. 3+ years experience leading and developing a team Ability to accurately analyze, forecast & report financial results. Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage multiple projects and deadlines. Track record of leading key initiatives and establishing, communicating and accomplishing company goals. Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player
