Senior Finance Manager
Hybrid (2 days/week in London HQ) | 4 or 5 days/week | £42–50k FTE 6-month FTC

I am excited to be working with a bold, forward-thinking health charity to find a Senior Finance Manager to lead their small but growing finance function.

This is a fantastic opportunity to shape and embed finance across the organisation — this 6-month FTC will see you combining strategy, hands-on delivery, and relationship-building. You’ll be central to budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and advising senior leaders, while also overseeing day-to-day operations including payroll, VAT, and Gift Aid.

What you'll be doing:

Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecastingDeliver monthly reporting and insightful analysis to the senior teamManage VAT returns, payroll processes, and financial systemsSupport audits and strengthen internal controlsLine manage a junior finance team memberLiaise with external partners (payroll, accountants)Help embed finance into everyday operations through strong stakeholder engagement

You’ll bring:

Part-qualified accountant or equivalent experienceStrong track record in financial reporting, budgeting, and analysisHands-on, adaptable approach and strong interpersonal skillsConfidence working in small teams and advising non-finance stakeholdersCharity finance knowledge and familiarity with SORP (desirable but not essential)Proficiency in Excel and finance systems
