Job DescriptionAs part of the finance team, you will act as a finance partner to UP&E commercial team and oversee day-to-day finance operations. You will collaborate with both local team and LA team and also in touch with cross-region operations.
Drive regular forecast submission and reviews. Work closely with business partners and ensure timely and accurate deliverables for reporting, forecasting/budget, and analysisPerform data processing and prepare various finance templatesSupport budget and forecast business reviews, including but not limited to providing financial reports, variance analysis, and deck preparationMonitor licensee performance and collect royalty reports; provide financial update and variance analysis to drive financial efficiency and risk controlConsolidation of various reports and templatesManage direct cost budget (marketing, sales, PDD, etc) and PO tracking and regularly communicate with LA/international team on forecasts; ensures forecast accuracy and full internal complianceCollaborate with LA team and controllership for problems solving, finding/observation, new process, systems implementations, and improvement plan.Manage quarter end closing and relevant activities, and work with accounting team/LA team to ensure accurate/timely financial bookingSupport any other global/local initiatives, LRP development, financial projects, and build financial models to support business growth and commercial negotiationSupport new business tracking, cash collection, and credit check process to reduce risk and facilitate business processOther ad-hoc assignmentsQualifications
Basic Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of finance related and accounting experience, ideally in a finance role within retail sectorExperience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting is desirableExcellent analytical skills with high attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and have keen interest in numbers and processAdvance skills in Microsoft Excel and ability to work with large amounts of data in SAP, excel, other financial systemsGreat communication skills and the ability to work with business partners and explain complex concepts in a simple mannerFluent in English and Chinese, both orally and in writingSAP/ERP expertise is preferredAble to develop and report business performance, understand metrics and able to explain to outside of finance organizations
