As the Senior Financial Analyst, you will support the FP&A Manager by delivering forward-looking decision support and preparing insightful analysis on various financial aspects, including sales, gross margin, cost of sales, operating expenses, and other manufacturing and distribution costing activities. You will play a pivotal role in driving financial planning and analysis, providing actionable insights, and fostering continuous improvement across the organization.\r\n

Strategic Responsibilities\r\nContinuously enhance your understanding of Victaulic's industry, customers, and products.\r\nCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales and Operations, to gain comprehensive knowledge of the business and ensure alignment with organizational goals.\r\n\r\n

Daily Responsibilities\r\nServe as a liaison between the Sales, Operations, and Business Intelligence teams to enhance financial reporting and decision-making.\r\nLead business process efficiency reviews, taking ownership of tasks and identifying opportunities for system automation.\r\nReview and manage transfer pricing for all Victaulic affiliated companies, in partnership with the Corporate Costing Department.\r\nConduct audit checks on system transactions and item costs, identifying and rectifying discrepancies.\r\nAssist in developing new reports and financial models to meet ongoing financial and management reporting requirements.\r\nPerform additional duties and responsibilities as needed to support the department's objectives.  \r\n\r\n

Monthly Responsibilities\r\nSupport month-end financial close activities by reviewing results and communicating variances.\r\nPrepare and present monthly financial reports to the regional management team.\r\nAnalyze trends and provide insights to the regional executive team and Global Director of FP&A.\r\nPartner with Operations to manage cycle and physical inventory counts.\r\nCollaborate with Supply Chain and Operations teams to implement inventory reduction initiatives.\r\nAnalyze results related to productivity and cost-saving initiatives.  \r\n\r\n

Annual Responsibilities\r\nAssist with external audit preparations, providing schedules as required by the audit firm.\r\nSupport the year-end standard cost roll-up and inventory revaluation process.\r\nUpdate documentation related to procedures and controls around inventory, costing, and FP&A processes.\r\nParticipate in the preparation of rolling forecasts and annual budgets, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow projections, and capital planning.\r\nPartner with regional business leaders to analyze business trends and develop strategic recommendations.\r\nContinuously improve the forecast and budget processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.\r\n\r\n
