Role
This professional will join the APAC Management Reporting team within Finance in a newly created position. The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for acting as a key Finance business partner primarily to the Country Head of Southeast Asia covering Corporate & Institutional Services and Asset Management. This role requires experience and knowledge in Financial Planning and Analysis, Business Partnering and key decision business support. The successful candidate will be part of the APAC Management Reporting spoke team working closely with the hub team and shall have a direct reporting line into Manila and a functional reporting line into the head of APAC Management Reporting who is based in Melbourne, Australia. This role is critical in the build out of the Management Reporting, Operating Model and is expected to maximize stakeholder engagement and build key relationships with APAC.
Principal Responsibilities
Leadership
Establish and develop strong working relationships and open communication with key stakeholders;
Accountable for own assignments and holding others accountable for theirs. Delivering when you say you will, and proactively managing expectations
Operational
Delivering accurate analysis on revenue and expenses for Southeast Asia and the APAC region
Preparation of regional specific financials and reports that cater to the business needs
Preparation and co-ordination of an integrated budgeting and forecasting process across the relevant business units in the region and Finance corporate centres
Partaking in scenario analysis for budgeting, planning and long-term forecasting
Ensuring integrity on the information provided to the business and appropriate commentary and key highlights
Monitoring and forecasting Financial Metrics Performance including key ratios and impact of expenses and changes in revenue on various metrics
Providing business case support, interpretations and recommendations to country heads, client servicing teams and other corporate functions
Continue to improve business reporting, timelines and generate efficiency all round
Addressing adhoc requests accurately and on a timely basis
Skills / Experience
Required Skills
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required
CA or CPA certification is preferred
Previous Financial Analysis / Management Reporting experience within Financial Services Industry
Ability to work in a structured environment, setting priorities and meeting deadlines.
Advanced interpersonal skills with the ability to present ideas, perspectives and issues to senior management
Prior experience on TM1, Cognos will be highly valued.

Proficiency in Word and Excel a plus
Must be a team player and able to work under pressure during peak periods
