Senior Financial Analyst, SEC Reporting

Relationship & Scope:

The Senior Financial Analyst will report to the Senior Manager, Financial Reporting and is a pivotal team member of the unit responsible for preparation of quarterly SEC filings and consolidated financial reporting. The Senior Financial Analyst will interact with a diverse group of internal personnel including other financial analysts, divisional leadership, and functional staff to interpret financial data and operational performance. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of all 10-Q/K SEC filings including financial statements, footnotes, disclosures and supporting documentation Be accountable for various analytical and reporting responsibilities that include the ability to work within finance and other departments Recognize, research, and resolve SEC reporting and general accounting issues Analyze technical accounting topics and propose conclusions Assist in XBRL reporting for all SEC filings, which includes researching tags and staying up to date with taxonomy updates Assist with the implementation of FASB projects and standards

Technical Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Business with a major in Accounting or FinanceMinimum 3 years of relevant experience required, with Big 4 experience preferredCPA designation preferredStrong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent computer skills with an ability to learn accounting softwareAbility to multi-task and prioritize deadlinesProven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environmentMicrosoft Word and Excel experience requiredMindset for process improvement and efficiencyProven problem-solving and analytical skills
