Senior Financial Analyst

At our core, we’re a company that believes we can always create a better way. GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB This position is responsible for financial support of the manufacturing operations. The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for recurring and ad-hoc reporting and analysis for various operational departments. This individual must be detail-oriented, have strong analytical skills, possess the competency to understand the business and user requirements, build actionable reports and clearly communicate the findings from analysis to those leaders best suited to influence change. All Packaging employees must: Follow and comply with all food safety and quality policies. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES + Work with Operational leaders to provide periodic analysis of key performance indicators (KPI’s) + Support month-end close activities (i.e. – journal entries, account reconciliations, etc.) + Create ad-hoc analyses based on business requests + Enhance processes that increase efficiency and accuracy + Train and provide guidance to business partners + Support international logistic transactions + Maintain strong control environment and support international compliance audits JOB REQUIREMENTS Appropriate education and/or experience may be substituted on an equivalent basis Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field from an accredited four-year college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years professional experience in a finance role or related discipline. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: + Good understanding of generally accepted accounting principles as well as company accounting policies, procedures and standards + Communicates ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise, and professional manner + Ability to analyze and solve problems using learned techniques and tools + Analytical examination skills + Attention to detail and accuracy + Demonstrated ability to plan and accomplish work to ensure critical deadlines are met + Ability to create spreadsheets and demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and accounting software + Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with operational business partners #LI-BB1 We offer excellent benefits to eligible employees, including 401(k), holidays, vacations and more.
