WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Southeast Asia and Taiwan ("SEATW") play a crucial role in driving company growth, with over 4000 employees supporting a diverse range of functions such as commercial, manufacturing, finance, legal, IT, and more. 
This role will be based in Taiwan and report to Country Commercial Finance Senior Manager. Key responsibilities include working closely with commercial leaders in the region to meet revenue and profitability objectives. This involves overseeing expenses, performing regular financial planning and analysis activities like monthly closing, commercial forecasting, business evaluations, annual operating planning, long-term planning, and any other necessary analyses or projects.
(1)    Support Taiwan financial reporting and analysis (FP&A):
•    Taiwan comprises of 8 groups, namely Analytical Instruments Group (AIG), Specialty Diagnostics Group (SDG), Customer Channels Group (CCG), Laboratory Products Group (LPG), Life Sciences Solutions Group (LSG), BioProduction Group (BPG), Pharma Services Group (PSG), and Clinical Research Group (CRG).  These groups focus on in vitro diagnostics including test kits, reagents, culture media, instruments, and associated products to serve customers in health care, clinical, pharmaceutical, industrial laboratories, and semiconductors.  Depending on capacity and work requirements, the scope may be customized as necessary.
•    Support Taiwan to co-work with divisional lead analysts and commercial business partners, country and regional division finance teams to ensure key deliverables and timelines for business reviews or submissions are met. 
•    Support tracking and analysis of monthly forecasts vs actuals for backlog, booking and revenue by divisions or product lines, explaining forecast movements as well as identifying key drivers for changes or variances. 
•    Run regular performance tracking reports and work with business to highlight risks / opportunities, analyze growth trends and margins. Analyse funnels in Salesforce.com (SFDC) to support forecast roll-ups, assess opportunity pipeline, review win-loss ratios and drive funnel health. 
•    Regularly review channel performance and evaluate risks and opportunities, and support Taiwan go to market strategy, improvements, and initiatives.
•    Support the consolidation and reporting of commercial P&L by divisions and at group level.
•    Prepare financials for timely submission at country and divisional level (where applicable) during Strategic Plan (“STRAP”), as well as Annual Operating Plan (“AOP”) cycles. Build templates to facilitate efficient and effective planning, reconciliation, and review.
•    Use financial reporting systems effectively to extract data or build dashboards, as well as perform uploads into financial reporting systems as needed.  Use Hyperion Planning for loading of forecasts and planning financial numbers.
•    Collaborate with customer care and supply chain management teams to analyze and monitor critical metrics related to supply and demand planning.
•    Work with Accounting and operational teams to run working capital metrics (i.e. DSO, DOS) involving receivables and inventories.
•    Assist in special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis as required. Share the best approaches. Proactively find opportunities to drive operational efficiencies and / or cost savings

(2)    Collaborate across the matrix structure
•    Possess strong communication skills, with ability to work in and influence a complex matrix structure across divisions, functions and countries.
•    Good personal efficiency to work cross-functionally and navigate matrix organization.
•    Work autonomously in fast-paced environment, with ability to handle some ambiguity and initiate improvements or follow-up where needed.
•    Uphold compliance and keep commercial teams aware / in line with company and accounting guidelines, especially in relation to deal structure and transactions with customers.
•    Participate actively and work closely with the commercial team, to support commercial leaders and Finance team within SEATW.
WHAT DO WE LOOK FOR?
•    Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent.
•    At least 5 years dynamic experience in MNC commercial Finance or FP&A.
•    Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities with advanced Excel skills.
•    Good commercial sense and able to learn on the fly, being comfortable with ambiguity.
•    Applied knowledge of business systems (e.g. Hyperion Financial Management, SmartView, Workday, etc.) would be an advantage.
•    Good verbal and written communication, both in Mandarin and English, comfortable communicating with senior leaders.
•    Adaptable and able to handle pressure, good personal efficiency, can-do attitude.
•    Self-motivated and a keen learner with an inquisitive mind.
•    A good teammate who is hands-on and meticulous.
