Position Summary:
The Senior Financial Analyst’s primary focus will be to partner with business leaders across the organization to analyze business performance and provide actionable insights to help drive organizational strategy. This role is expected to be a strategic partner that supports decision-making at the executive management, business unit management, and cost center management level. The Sr. Financial Analyst must be a self-starter, detail-oriented, organized, and deadline driven.
Essential Functions:
Develops, distributes, tracks and consolidates cost center management inputsReconciles Top-Down budget to cost center management inputRedistributes final cost center budgetEvaluates business changes presented by Business Unit leaders to determine Discounted Cash Flow, Return on Invested Capital, Cash outlay requirements, and anticipated Internal Rate of Return. Based on models created, advise leaders from a Finance perspective on the viability and profitability of proposed investmentsSupports senior leadership in Financial Statement Analysis by responding to inquiry on summary financials, assembling detailed analysis of journal entry and vendor detail, and coordinating with various stakeholders to evaluate business trends that impact total company financial performanceReviews Capital Expenditure plans to validate that proposed expenditures align with total company targetsPartners with the business to determine if savings opportunities exist and lead efforts to negotiate more favorable termsPartners with vendors and internal parties to consolidate detail for core operation topics (T&E spend, training costs, supplies expense, repair cost, etc.)Determines accountable parties for key areas of spend identified and creates a system of tracking spend, leveraging Microsoft Power BITrains Business leadership on managing core areas of spend and drives organization accountability and understanding of financial resultsAssists in preparation of monthly executive management and quarterly Board of Director presentation decks for both actual and forecast resultsAssists in development of annual budget and monthly forecastsAssists in driving operational improvements and supports high visibility projects as neededProactively challenges the status quo and investigate issues independently and as a teamPerforms all tasks with an emphasis on developing automation and efficiencyAdhering to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies.
