Your Opportunity

The Senior Financial Analyst provides accurate and timely financial data. This position researches and analyzes financial information to help make informed business decisions. Ideal candidate is detail oriented, has excellent computer skills, and is an independent thinker.

Responsibilities

Interprets and analyzes financial data and provides forecasting support as needed. Evaluates financial and business-related data to provide valuable, accurate and timely information on business performance.

Assists in month-end close and annual budgeting process.

Design reports that present both actual and budget data in a concise manner for use by management in decision making.

Provides financial analysis for department managers. Provide leadership and direction to business managers and other management as a valued Finance partner in establishing strategy and running daily operations.      

Analyzes key performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variances.

Support the Company’s financial reporting and analytical data requests, including scheduled periodic financial reporting as well as ad-hoc reporting and analysis.           

Assists leadership with the more complex accounting tasks.         

Assists with developing policies and procedures and maintaining adherence to internal controls and GAPP.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Accounting or Finance and 5+ years’ experience in reporting, consolidation and financial analysis; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certified Public Accountant, preferred.

Knowledge of Accounting software, and Microsoft Office, specifically advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel including use of Pivot Tables and analytical tools.

Solid understanding of cost accounting concepts.

E1 and Insight experience, preferred.

Solid mathematical and analytical skills.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Requires flexibility and willingness to work as part of a team.

Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.

Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
