About the Role

Workday is seeking a finance professional to join the Corporate Finance team supporting our G&A function. This role will enable decisions by providing financial and operational analytics, benchmarks, insights, and recommendations. You will work closely with a diverse team, supporting the Chief Financial Officer's organization, Procurement, and Legal. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Finance Manager.

Responsibilities:

Business performance reporting (Budgeting & Forecasting): Prepare monthly & quarterly financial review presentations (including collecting, formatting, and analyzing information) and assist in presenting the materials to senior leadership teams.

Business partnering: Cultivate positive relationships and serve as the primary Business Finance point of contact for several VP-level leaders. Collaborate with leaders to provide necessary insights to inform key business decisions.

Financial, Operational, Ad-hoc analysis: Use quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify business risks and opportunities. Participate in the continuous planning process by delivering detailed forecasts to assist business partners in achieving financial targets.

Business processes: Familiarize with business processes and find opportunities for automation and operational improvement with cross-functional teams.

Financial close: Prepare journal entries related to financial close activities (end-of-period accruals, reclass entries).

Responsabilidades:

Elaborar informes de resultados de la empresa (presupuestos y previsiones): deberá preparar presentaciones mensuales y trimestrales de la revisión financiera (incluso recopilar, analizar y dar formato a la información), y ayudar en la presentación de los materiales a los equipos de liderazgo sénior.

Colaboración comercial: fomentar relaciones positivas y servir como el principal punto de contacto de Finanzas Comerciales para varios líderes de nivel de vicepresidencia. Colaborar con los líderes para proporcionar los insights necesarios para fundamentar las decisiones de negocio claves.

Análisis financieros, operativos y ad hoc: utilizar análisis cuantitativos y cualitativos para identificar los riesgos y las oportunidades de negocio. Participar en el proceso de planificación continua mediante la presentación de previsiones detalladas para ayudar a los partners de negocios a alcanzar los objetivos financieros.

Procesos operativos: familiarizarse con los procesos operativos y buscar oportunidades de automatización y mejora operativa con equipos interfuncionales.

Realizar cierres financieros: deberá preparar asientos contables relacionados con las actividades correspondientes al cierre financiero (acumulaciones de fin del período, asientos de reclasificación).

About You

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics

5+ years of related FP&A, Operational, or Strategic Finance experience.

Other Qualifications:

MBA preferred.

Exceptional organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.

Proficiency in analytical and financial modeling skills (Excel/Google Sheets) with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Exposure to accounting principles (revenue, cost of revenue, operating expense) and their application to periodic financial reporting, planning, and forecasting.

Ability to navigate systems for analysis and reporting. Prior exposure to products such as Workday Adaptive Planning and Tableau is preferred.

Adaptable and willing to embrace the rapid business and organizational changes that accompany a high-growth environment.

Positive, self-motivated, and eager to learn and improve.

Cualificaciones requeridas:

Título universitario en Contabilidad, Finanzas o Economía.

5 años o más de experiencia relacionada con planificación y análisis financiero o finanzas operativas o estratégicas.

Otras cualificaciones:

Preferiblemente con maestría en administración de empresas.

Habilidades excepcionales de organización, comunicación y colaboración.

Dominio de las habilidades analíticas y de modelización financiera (Excel/Google Sheets) con una sólida atención a los detalles y la precisión.
