Senior Financial Analyst
Senior Financial Analyst Job Description Identify and conduct complex analysis of financial impacts of issues and specific decisions facing the company & propose strategies that maximize the company's financial performance. Analyze the impact on the financial structure, profitability, financial integrity, and competitive position of relevant environmental and/or business issues facing the company. Evaluate the impact on the financial structure, profitability, financial integrity, and competitive position of all strategic and tactical resource allocation plans. Understand financial and accounting systems and concepts, credit analysis, and problem-solving. May make recommendations on short and long-term financing decisions and interface with Regulatory, Finance, and Accounting areas of the company. Serve as a mentor and guide to others, handling varied and complex projects and tasks. Responsibilities + Conduct complex financial analysis and propose strategies to maximize financial performance. + Analyze the impact of environmental and business issues on the company's financial structure, profitability, financial integrity, and competitive position. + Evaluate the impact of strategic and tactical resource allocation plans on financial performance. + Understand and utilize financial and accounting systems and concepts, including credit analysis. + Make recommendations on short and long-term financing decisions. + Interface with Regulatory, Finance, and Accounting departments. + Serve as a mentor and guide to other team members. + Handle varied and complex projects and tasks. Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, or other technical field required. + MBA, CPA, or other relevant graduate degree highly desirable. + 6+ years of utility/energy or other relevant experience required. + Sr Financial Analyst experience. + Experience in Power BI, Hyperion, Excel, SAP, Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
