SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST

Business partnering to facilitate budgeting, forecasting / rally (business owns the forecast but finance supports with advice and input into the rally system)   

Financial accounting for the specified NA business

Month End Close activities - landing/closing positions, provisions / credit notes, project accruals, etc.

Monthly account performance (P&L, BS, account drivers) to support decision making

Variance Analysis and associated bridge work for close and rally

D2 close process including D2 flash reporting

Manage OE. Reviews monthly wins and submit backlog / OE calculations

Must have a good grasp on all accounts within remit, including understanding of contractual commitments, issues with the customer, how we are supporting their growth and where future opportunities lie;

Provide audit support as required

When appropriate work with IFRS expert for accounting positions

Monitor WIP and AR aging – leverage business partners when challenges are identified

 

Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or related field.

Typically requires business related experience.

Must be able to make decisions and solve problems that are general in nature and for which there are precedents.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as a team member with excellent interpersonal skills.

Excellent time management skills, multi-tasking a pre-requisite.

High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.

Ability to work a flexible schedule during key business deadlines.

Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized.

Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated.
