Senior Financial Analyst
NOW HIRING: Millerbernd Manufacturing is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst. As a Sr. Financial Analyst, you are responsible for creating financial tools, using analytic processes, and interpreting financial results to facilitate collaborative decision making. Communicate and interact effectively to drive improved operations and bottom line results. This is an onsite opportunity based in Winsted, MN. Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst Location: Winsted, MN (on-site) Salary Range: $80,000 – $100,000 per year (In compliance with Minnesota Pay Transparency Law, this range reflects the anticipated compensation for this role. Actual pay may vary based on experience, education, and other factors.) Shift Schedule: 1st shift Monday – Friday Business Hours Shift Differential: 1st shift – N/A As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will: + Create and analyze margin/profitability reporting and analysis tools by market, value stream, product that identify opportunities to improve operations, sales, and profits + Create, monitor, and update pricing tools and models + S&OP meeting pulse. Serve as proactive, financial reporting and analysis resource to department and senior leadership team + Analyze, identify, and recommend improvements to pricing, manufacturing, and associated support processes + Prioritize and lead ERP costing, reporting, and analysis improvement initiatives + Facilitate company growth through developing scalable systems/processes, and strategic thinking and asset management + Develop and document consistent work standards + Analyze investment returns and economic viability of capital projects + Financial modeling, planning, and forecasting + Special projects and other duties as needed Role Qualifications as a Senior Financial Analyst: + MBA degree with concentrations in Finance, Analytics, Cost Accounting or related field and 3+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and/or modeling within manufacturing OR Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Analytics, Cost Accounting or related field and 5+ years of experience in financial planning, analytics, and/or modeling within manufacturing + Very strong Microsoft Excel and Power Point skills (Formulas, Pivot Tables, Functions, Presentations) + Problem solve independently and communicate effectively on cross functional teams + Perform root cause analysis to prevent reoccurrence of issues + Manages time well/able to work on multiple priorities simultaneously + Effective written and verbal communication skills with all levels of the organization. Ability to present financial information to a non-financial audience + Values documenting processes to ensure consistency, data integrity, and facilitate systemization + Proactive and highly motivated toward solving business needs and improving processes + Ability to convert raw data into actionable opportunities + Solid understanding of ERP systems and concepts within a manufacturing environment.
