We have an exciting opportunity for an Senior Financial Analyst.  In this Senior Financial Analyst role you will be responsible for providing financial and controlling related services in order to ensure effective, efficient and accurate financial and administrative operations. 

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare project plans, measure performance and drive root-cause analysis of results (customer/sales channels/sector/product/ tradelane profitability, etc.), coordinates planning and forecasting processes (Demand)Initiates development of action plans, follows up and monitors implementation/effectsBusiness PartnerFacilitates strategy implementation, decision-making process and management reviewsProactively identifies trends, opportunities, risksSupports RFQ processChallenges commercial performance (pipeline inform., ship to profile/hit ratios, etc.)Analysis and Performance MeasurementMeasures performance and conducts root cause analysis of results (customer/sales channels/sector/product/ trade lane profitability etc.)Monitors development of sell ratesPrepares commentary on performance and critical issuesMonitors target achievement ( growth, margin, etc.)Planning and ForecastingFacilitates planning and forecasting of demand (volume forecast)Coordinates projected volumes with Product Capacity ControllerInitiation and monitoring of actionsParticipates in required actions and follows up on implementation/effectsEscalates to Country Head of Business Controlling (or Product Controlling Team Lead, where applicable)

Skills / Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance and AccountingBachelors degree in Finance or equivalentGood knowledge of forwarding business, DGF AFR product both exports and importsCargoWise experienceAbility to communicate courteously and effectivelyVery results-driven and detailed-oriented with an ability to positively influence others across multiple groupsAn ability to work independently relying on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish daily deliverablesAbility to work effectively with others as a member of a work teamExperience of processing and handling large volumes of data, spreadsheets and reports
