Senior Financial Analyst - FP&A
Job Summary:Primarily responsible for providing operational data and insights for assigned functions as well as company's Value Creation Strategy and any new strategic initiatives; this includes but is not limited to marketing funnel analysis, pricing opportunity assessments, detailed option analyses, house cost analyses, and overhead comparisons and benchmarking.Primary Responsibilities: + Support current Value Creation reporting using existing suite of reports + Generate and publish various weekly and monthly financial reports (via Excel & OLAP based tools) + Provide ad hoc analysis support to Sales, Homebuilding and Marketing functions + Maintain, update and improve operations tools (i.e., pricing tools, should costing tools) + Assess overhead drivers to identify opportunities for improvement or benchmarking + Administer company forecasting process and financial planning system + Identify opportunities for best practice sharing across organization + Assist in building fact-based framework for new strategic initiatives Management Responsibilities: MENTOR / COACH / FEEDBACK + n/a SCOPE: (decision making, size of organization, budgetary etc.) + Decision Impact: Corporate + Department Responsibility: None + Budgetary Responsibility: No + Direct Reports: No + Indirect Reports: No Required Education: + Minimum Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent Required Experience: + Related Functional Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years at a private industry and/or public accounting experience + Advanced technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel (i.e., pivot tables, advanced formulas, charting) + Strong knowledge of GAAP, accounting theory, practice, and financial reporting + Strong analytical skills (i.e. build and draw conclusions from large datasets) + Strong problem solving skills + Strong verbal and written communication skills + Ability to organize and manage different projects simultaneously PulteGroup, Inc. and its affiliates do not accept unsolicited resumes from individual recruiters or third party recruiting agencies (collectively, “Recruiters”) in response to job postings.
