Job Requisition ID #

Position Overview

We are looking for a finance professional to join our team as a Senior Financial Analyst supporting the Corporate Functions team. You will partner closely with Finance Business Partners, business unit budget owners and various stakeholders across the finance organization. This role will be heavily focused on designing dashboards, reports and automations to deliver financial insights to key stakeholders across the business.

You will report into the Corporate Functions Finance Director and can be based remotely anywhere in the USA however a Pacific Time Zone would be preferable.

Responsibilities

Process and Tool Improvement. Just because a process or model exists, doesn't mean it's the best way to meet the need. You will be a key decision maker on our forecast, close and planning processes – you'll learn our processes and tools, learn how what we do impacts our team and other groups, and then make recommendations and lead projects that simplify the ways we work. We want to use the best tools and automate where possible so that we can spend less time on manual tasks and more time adding value

Partnership with stakeholders and budget owners: You will partner with various stakeholders to manage the quarterly forecast and close processes including analysis of business trends, identification of risk & opportunity, variance explanations and consolidation. In addition, you will provide financial modeling and analysis support to the annual planning process and periodic investment portfolio analysis

Ad-hoc projects and analyses. Every role has its core responsibilities and the opportunity for more when you're ready. For example, you could support ad-hoc projects requiring cross-company collaboration to achieve the desired outcomes, you might join the FP&A employee engagement team, or you may analyze KPIs to help tell the story of a product's performance

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required

Minimum 3+ years of related finance experience

Experience in forecasting and financial modelling

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

Expertise in using technologies and tools, including dashboards, financial modelling

Software, and automation tools (e.g. Anaplan, Alteryx, Power BI, Power Query, SAP)

Automation and process improvement mindset

Ability to collaborate and partner effectively with a variety of stakeholders

The Ideal Candidate

You work well with others. You know how to build relationships with individuals who are peers as well as those who are senior and junior to you. You build trust with your team and the team you support, encouraging diverse perspectives. You know when to have hard conversations – without ego to drive better outcomes

You are experienced in working with reporting and insights tools and for innovating through technology. You know how to build dashboards in PowerBI and have skills designing reports out of financial tools (it's plus if this includes Anaplan and Business Objects)

You're a pro working in excel and building excel models. You know how to navigate through the company's systems and network of people to get the data and information you need. You have a passion to find more efficient ways of working and driving change in the teams you partner with

You adapt quickly to change and are comfortable with ambiguity. You understand that change is constant in technology; change is expected and welcomed. When you are met with ambiguity you ask questions and seek to understand. You know what risks are yours to take individually and what risks should be escalated for further review
