We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst (m/f/d), based in Munich.
Your Team
Within CFO Global Performance Steering (GPS), the Cost Controlling team is the “point of entry” towards the business on all cost topics. Reporting to the Head of Global Cost Steering, the mandate of the Cost Steering team is to steer and challenge Allianz Commercial cost, productivity, and FTE development globally against overall aspiration level and facilitate results-oriented discussions at senior management level.
The Impact You Will Have
This position is a key contributor to the Cost Controlling team combining both planning and analytical responsibilities.
Some of your specific responsibilities could include:
Drive global end-to-end process of cost center cost planning for all cost types and all CxOs.
This includes concept development, communication, operationalization, and coordination with all stakeholders as well as results presentation to Allianz Commercial management and Allianz SE in the course of yearly Planning Dialogue.
Provide management reporting & analysis (regular and ad-hoc) and financial consultancy for designated area of responsibility incl. financial assessment of relevant business cases
Contribute to FTE steering closely aligning with various stakeholder, in particular HR
Respond reliably to ad-hoc requests and special cost / FTE analysis to support business decisions
Participate in projects and implement initiatives as required
Share best-practices, increase efficiencies, and set global standards
What You’ll Bring to the Role
Strong analytical skills incl. ability to handle and analyze large amount of data
Proactive and hands-on mindset with a strong sense of drive and ensures end-to-end ownership of remit
Ability to understand, elaborate and convey information clearly and effectively in English, to a variety of stakeholders including senior management
Comfortable working both in a team and independently, and enjoying working in an international and dynamic environment
Experience in areas related to controlling, financial modeling and analysis
Excellent MS Office skills (in particular MS Excel) and experience in finance reporting/planning systems (e.g. SAP)
Excellent educational background, preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or qualified by experience in related discipline
Embracing agile working and engage in constant learning, to adapt to internal and external customer needs.
