Department OverviewThis role will be in the Business Finance department providing support to the Global Software business.
The Business Finance Software and Services Team is responsible for analysis of financial reports, trends, risks and opportunities. We gather, interpret and evaluate financial information, including past financial data and short- to long-term financial forecasts.

Job Description

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will fill a critical role in our accounting team for day-to-day full cycle accounting. The ideal candidate is a technology & system-savvy, self-starter, excellent problem-solver, detail-oriented, highly analytical hardworking individual who is able to multitask, work independently, and successfully communicate with internal departments, management, and customers on a daily basis. Most importantly, we are looking for an individual who is highly motivated and excited about a role in a rapidly growing environment. No task is too large or too small.

⦁ Manage CV & R&O analysis

⦁ Manage monthly estimation and actual reporting

⦁ Loading CV, LRP, Sales, Gross Margin and Plan

⦁ Manage Backlog (preparation & control)

⦁ Manage day-to-day accounting operations related to full cycle accounting

⦁ Manage monthly balance sheet account reconciliations 

⦁ Perform revenue, deferred revenue, and deferred cost flux analysis

⦁ ​Collaborate cross-functionally and serve as subject matter expert

⦁ Drive process improvement and automation

⦁ Assist in other ad hoc projects as needed

Please note that this role offer includes a mixed shift component, which entails working during US hours for one week, twice per quarter.


Basic Requirements

⦁ Minimum of a Bachelors’ Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration

⦁ 3+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting

⦁ BA/BS in Accounting or related field

⦁ Experience with subscription and license based billing and revenue recognition

⦁ Intermediate to advanced knowledge of excel and/or google sheets

⦁ Solid understanding of how ERP, IT and other systems are designed and integrated for scale, efficiency and the impact on accounting and business operations 

⦁ Self-driven and highly motivated

⦁ High attention to details and excellent organizational skills

⦁ Ability to work independently and be a team player

⦁ Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

⦁ Strong interpersonal and customer service skills including experience building and maintaining a diverse set of relationships

⦁ Proven experience working on a team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and deliver results on-time with quality

⦁ Ability to understand and quickly learn new accounting software and other systems
