OVERVIEW The Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) for commodities offers a unique experience to develop leadership, planning and reporting skills, cross functional partnership, and analytical capabilities. In a supply chain finance role you will gain an understanding and influence how we plan, make, and deliver food the world needs. In this role you will provide critical support to the sourcing function as well as the businesses in a highly dynamic business environment. North America Sourcing manages the procurement of raw materials for both the NAR and C&F businesses. It is a highly dynamic supply chain function with influence and leadership across all Operating Units, Sales and the E2E Supply Chain. The sourcing finance team supports the operation and management of the over $4B annual spend. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Lead Across the Value Chain Utilize data, analytics, and insights to enable business decisions and solve business challenges by translating insights to actionable solutions for the business team Assess the external landscape and leverage insights to drive decisions that advance the business Build and Execute a Financial Plan Lead monthly and annual planning process for a ~$1B commodities annual budget Assess performance against that plan and take action to close any gaps and/or take advantage of any opportunities throughout the year Provide clear, concise summaries of performance with functional and cross functional business partners Partnership for Impact Build strong relationships with cross-functional team, OU SC Finance teams, Sourcing Finance team and work across the matrix to deliver results via candid communication and productive discourse Bring experience, analytics, insight, and candor to influence and shape strategies and performance MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field with 3+ years of releated experience Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability Demonstrated ability to be proactive, respond quickly, and adjust to changes Process oriented, able to make process improvements, and effectively organize work Strong communication skills to influence stakeholders PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience working in a sourcing organization or organization working with ingredients A strong continous improvement mindset with a strong sense of curiosity Strong analytical mindset ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS International relocation or international remote working arrangements (outside of the US) will not be considered Applicants for this position must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
