Introduction
We are seeking a Senior Financial Controller to join our team in Market Area Europe! The role of a Senior Financial Controller is central to a company's financial success and offers many opportunities for career development and professional growth.
In this position, you will report to Administrative Managing Director, Finland.
This position is located in Espoo or Tampere, but we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options.

You will join a team of finance professionals dedicated to ensuring the quality of financials and processes. We are currently in the final stage of building a new, modern platform that will help us reach our ambitious targets.
We work closely with different stakeholders, such as Business and Market Areas, Global service center, and other external partners such as auditors and tax officials.
Our team culture is all about getting things done together. The members in our team are located in Espoo and Tampere (Finland).
What you’ll do
Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of Metso Finland’s monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting Ensure the company adheres to internal policies, financial regulations and laws. Developing and streamlining statutory processes Supporting financial process development Ensure collaboration with Global Business Services and support its members in their daily tasks. Collaboration with auditors and regulatory authorities
Who you are
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting, Economics, or a related field Several years of experience in financial management roles Previous experience overseeing the work of service center teams In-depth understanding of accounting, financial analysis, and reporting. Previous experience in SAP is essential. Knowledge of OneStream is considered an asset. Excellent ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly to various stakeholders. Strong written and verbal communication skills in Finnish and English. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse individuals in a global, matrix organization. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. High ethical standards and accuracy in work.
