Senior Financial Crime Manager – Salary circa £75,000 (pro rata)

7-month Fixed Term

Start date: mid-April

We are on the lookout for an experienced Financial Crime Advisory professional, to join our UK Financial Crime second line Risk function. This is a 7-month fixed term position to cover paternity leave. This role is for you if you would like to showcase your financial crime subject matter expertise and keen to start your next challenging role supporting our business growth ambition with sound risk opinion and oversight!

A bit about the job:

The key purpose of this role is to use your expertise to provide advice, support, challenge to, and 2nd line oversight of, the business to help manage the risk of financial crime.

This will involve working closely across Financial Crime Risk, with financial crime professionals within Aviva and wider business stakeholders.

This role is one of two senior managers, supported by three managers, who are all subject matter experts in 2nd line of defence financial crime risk. The team is geographically dispersed over 4 locations in the UK.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

Experience in Facilitation of Tax Evasion, Fraud and Bribery laws, regulations, and industry good practice – ideally within the Financial Services industry.Experienced in building and maintaining strong working relationships with key stakeholders.Able to communicate complex technical concepts to specialist/non-specialist audiences.Risk aware, with experience in evaluating risk as part of business as usual activities in relation to the areas of Anti Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing, Sanctions, Facilitation of Tax Evasion, Fraud and Bribery laws, regulations, and industry good practice.People management experience is preferable.
