What You Will Get To Do:

Use technical expertise to analyze large and varied datasetsBuild and maintain models to estimate client and product profitability and summarize findings for executive leadershipDevelop, evaluate, and implement pricing strategies and models for medical and pharmacy deals based on current business and competitive market dynamicsCreate and maintain benchmarking comparisons for successful and unsuccessful pricing proposalsBuild and maintain relationships with outside consultants to understand SS&C’s competitive position in the marketCommunicate insights and limitations of analyses clearly, document assumptions, and present work product in a professional, visually appealing wayPartner with other teams to craft winning proposals, highlight financial drivers, and recommend actions to improve operational efficiencyProject margin impact from changes in pricing, client activity, or environmental factorsAssist in building and maintaining team’s MySQL database and C# / R code-base for fast, accurate analyticsRecommend areas for improved team efficiency or enhanced analytics

What You Will Bring:

Demonstrated ability to tailor written and verbal communications for the intended audienceHigh attention to detail with a strong sense of pride in work productStrong critical thinking and natural curiosityAbility to prioritize projects and meet tight deadlinesAbility to work independently and in collaborative settingsProficiency writing MySQL / SQL queries and writing code in R, Python, C# or other data analytics languagesAdvanced skill analyzing and displaying data in Microsoft ExcelBachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Science, Actuarial Science, Economics or related field3 years of related work experience minimum; 5+ years preferredRelated experience in pharmacy benefit management and health plan markets
