Senior Financial System Analyst - RemoteJob Description

The Senior, Financial Systems Analyst serves as a financial system and process subject matter expert with a high level of understanding of their assigned area. This position will represent their area of expertise with regard to financial system knowledge on prioritized projects and implementations, process improvements, advanced research, root cause analysis, complex issue research, documentation, advanced communications, training, testing, ongoing system support, and developing reports and coordinating audits.

Responsibilities

Represent Procurement and Accounts Payable business areas as a subject matter expert in business requirements, system specifications, process flows, process change and/or project managementLead the functional analysis, design, and implementation of financial system enhancements and day-to-day supportLeverage finance applications to support and optimize processes for Accounts Payable and ProcurementAct as a resource to the business in the identification and adoption of operational best practices and standard operating procedures as it relates to assigned Finance processes and technologyResearch, determines root cause and collaborates with others to resolve complex finance and technical issues and internal customer inquiries.Facilitate testing for new or improved systems or processes including creation of a test plan, identifying test cases, and performing or leading User Acceptance and Joint Cycle TestingSolve complex problems by taking a new perspective on existing solutions and works to build consensus on key topicsOther duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience; HS diploma or GED is required5 years of work experience in Finance or Accounting includingAt least 3 years of functional experience in Procurement and/or Accounts PayableMust be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorshipERP and/or EPM Experience (such as Oracle, SAP, Workday)

Reporting Structure

Reports to a Manager or Principal in Financial Systems

Potential pay for this position ranges from $81,000.00 - $138,000.00 based on experience and skills. Pay range may vary by 8% depending on applicant location.
