We are seeking an experienced Senior FinOps professional to lead and optimize the financial management of our Cloud resources. This role is responsible for monitoring costs, analyzing resource usage, and implementing practices to prevent waste. You will work directly with IT teams to ensure financial and operational efficiency, driving initiatives that maximize the cost-effectiveness of cloud resource usage.

Key Responsibilities:

Track and manage Cloud resource usage to prevent financial waste and identify optimization opportunities.Analyze capacity inventory to identify areas for improvement and execute action plans in collaboration with stakeholders.Estimate potential cost optimizations and work with IT teams to assess feasibility for resource downsizing.Monitor high-cost resources to identify optimization opportunities and unexpected expenses.Review costs by application and service, highlighting any significant month-to-month increases.Reallocate costs for resources not directly associated with specific applications.Generate cost reports on Cloud services for management and IT teams.Provide detailed reporting on costs by application/service for various IT teams.Develop and oversee a two-year cost forecast roadmap.Communicate new transformation initiatives to IT teams and reinforce best practices in provisioning.Prepare cost estimates based on architectural proposals provided by technical experts.
