The Boeing Company is currently seeking a **Senior Fire Prevention Officer** to join the team in **Seattle, WA** .
Security & Fire Operations (S&FO) is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team. This team member will perform multi-discipline duties and provide technical consultation to stakeholders globally. In this role your work will primarily be site based with a regional approach specific to focused training needs. This position is perfect for a self-starter and collaborative team player who demonstrates a sense of urgency and initiative in determining and completing actions independently. The selected candidates’ responsibilities are needed to join the team's activities in Seattle, WA.
**Position Responsibilities:**
+ Coordinates with the appropriate functional roles within fire station to ensure input is received for all Fire Department related command media within its revision cycle
+ Provides all coordinated input for command media revisions to Enterprise Assistant Chief of Administration
+ Ensures station records maintain retention compliance in accordance with Enterprise Fire Administrative Procedure (EFAP) A302
+ Supports the Deputy Chief with matters related to fire prevention in coordination with Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ), Boeing site focal and Ground Flight Representatives (GFR)
+ Oversees the deployment of fire prevention processes at the site to ensure a safe and effective implementation, consistent with Enterprise direction i.e. Fire prevention week, special events, etc.
+ Facilitates audits to, include; Fire Department Service Quality Assessments (SQA), Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) and Aircraft Operations Inspection (AOI) audits
+ Provides detailed reports relating to fire prevention using Emergency Reporting to support fire department management and functions
+ Assists with the development and maintenance of site operations and risk mitigation plans
+ Facilitates, leads, and instructs site and regional based training
+ Assists Fire Inspectors with providing hands on training in fire prevention
+ Completes required reporting metrics and identify and inform all gaps to the site Deputy Chief officers
+ Coordinates extinguisher safety training for personnel when requested
+ Runs and disperses Emergency Reporting reports as needed
+ Provides oversight/track/maintain all documents related to State Department Health EMS (Emergency Medical Services) (Ambulance) licensure governance requirements
+ Performs peripheral duties as assigned by Deputy Chief
+ Maintains Firefighter operational requirements (i.e. physical, medical, certifications, etc.)
**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):**
+ 3+ years of experience in Emergency Services
+ 3+ years of experience with the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Project
+ 3+ years of experience building relationships and partnering with all levels of employees, including executives
+ 3+ years of experience applying risk management and mitigation principles
+ Experience with Security & Fire Protection or uniformed security policies, procedures, disciplines and requirements
+ Current National Registry or Washington State Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification
+ Able to travel 10% of the time
**Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):**
+ 3+ years of experience with Security & Fire Protection (S&FP)
+ 3+ years of experience communicating with management at all levels
+ Experience in a role requiring strategic planning
+ Experience in written and verbal communication for interaction in a dynamic executive environment

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $102,850 – $139,150

**Security Clearance**
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start and final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
