NVIDIA is looking for an excellent Firmware Design Engineer for NVIDIA FW PHY Group. The person will closely work with NVIDIA FW development, architecture, chip design teams and gain deep understanding of NVIDIA's Networking products and technologies.
What you'll be doing:
Developing features and debug complex issue in Phy layer for XDR (800G) GPU systems, InfiniBand Switch and NIC (network adapter) product lines.
Work closely with Analog, Serdes and Arch teams
Own the responsibility for designing and delivering new networking features
Innovate! Bring NVIDIA product to next quality level
What we need to see:
B.Sc. in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience with C/CPP
Ability to drive issues to solution
Experience with FW Low-Level support in Port\PHY layer
Knowledge in Linux
Phenomenal debug skills
Creative, motivated and collaborative person
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Experience with working in physical layers on networking devices
Experience with Networking applications and protocols
Background with Git/Gerrit
Experience with python
