We are looking for a Senior Firmware Engineer. Within this role, you will work with team responsible for development of new generation of Secure Element for Common Credential Module project. Your responsibility will be to design, develop and support product for our customers from Sweden and other parts of the world. As our Senior Firmware Engineer, you’ll support HID’s success by: 

 

Working with project teams in Krakow, you will be supporting a lot of important topics within the company Design and implementation of new secure embedded firmware applications in C on ie. ST33J Secure Element chips, also general purpose STM32/NRF Cortex based chips Review and maintain existing code base Working closely with our reader development boards and equipment Preparing internal and external documentation 

 

Your Experience and Background include:  

 

Senior level knowledge of C language Low level electronics fluency Python, C# or any other OOP language a plus – some of our helper tools are written in those languages Bachelor's/Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related Min. 3 years of hands-on embedded development or similar role Willingness to ‘roll up sleeves’ and dive deep into tactical work when necessary. Good interpersonal skills, willingness to learn and continue to grow professionally. Strong team player and ability to work well with others. Highlight knowledge, skills, abilities and traits necessary in this role to satisfy our customer's expectations Promote secure development and be able to work cooperatively and autonomously in a dynamic multi-cultural environment
