In the role of Senior Fisheries Biologist, we'll count on you to:Serve as a technical expert with recognized authority in an area of specialization that resolves problems of great scope and complexityPlan and develop projects or design activities that have significant impact on major company programs as neededPlan, direct and monitor all aspects of large environmental/water resources multidiscipline projects, or medium-size projects with high degree of technical complexityPlan, organize and supervise work of a medium to large staff of professionals and technicians as neededServe as Project Manager on larger projects as needed, although project management is not the sole focus of this positionPerform other duties as neededGuides technical day-to-day implementation of studies, participates in fieldwork, writes reports, and is key to leading tasks while maintaining reasonable budgetServe to mentor junior fisheries staff, and participate in the regional and national fisheries practice groupParticipate in local, regional and national professional groups (AFS) and perform some marketing to current and potential clientsDevelop and execute fisheries and related studiesCoordinate with Agency staff on study goals/objectives and permittingComfortable in difficult field settings and some travel may be requiredPreferred QualificationsMSProject management experienceFamiliarity with multiple fisheries sampling methods and data analysis techniques

Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. The expected compensation range for this position is $112,000.00 - $179,300.00 annually depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
