Job Description

Role Summary:

We're looking for a Senior FP&A Cost Analyst to join the Global Finance Services Team based in Cyberjaya and report directly to APAC FP&A and Cost Manager.

 

You'll have tremendous opportunity to influence market P&L performance. We are looking for supporting PMs and the EPMO through project reporting, governance and financial management processes. We are looking for someone who not only has the capability to meet technical requirements but also displays the behaviors needed to work with stakeholders across countries and cultures.

 

About the role:

Liaise between PM community and finance for Month end ProcessesProject cost control focuses on timesheet tracking and in depth analysis on timesheet reports such as labour analysisProject investigations and tracking variance of actual against forecast by matching against approvalsManage Investment Committee (IC) submissions process including quality assurance and coaching various stakeholders on IC processes.Prepare the financial reports across various project portfolios and able to provide insightful commentary on financial performance variancesMonitor and update, communicate, and act upon EPMO processes including EPMO Schedule, Tools and Templates and Project gating submission processSupport the annual and bi-annual project budgeting and forecasting processTo support product managers and project managers in preparing and reviewing business casesIdentify process and reporting improvements that improve quality of deliverablesEnsure excellent and data quality in the financial systemsEnsure Experian finance system capabilities are being used to increase reporting efficiencyImprove under Empower Plus agenda, covering areas such as data quality, management reporting and business partnering.

Qualifications

More About You:

Experience working in a Financial Accounting or FP&A function (5+ years), including dealing with stakeholders in different global locationsQualified Chartered Accountant with university degree qualification. A member of internationally recognized accountancy qualification, i.e. CPA, ACA, CGMA (CIMA) or equivalentFinancial accounting and project accounting experience, accruals and project forecasting, variance analysisHigh Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint – with an ability to build complex financial models and graphs Knowledge of and experience using financial reporting systems (such as Hyperion Smartview, Tableau, GenAI) would be preferred\Good communicator and presentation of propositions and solutions. Deliver and pitch ideas to a wide audience at different levels
