This position will play a pivotal role in supporting financial strategy, analysis and decision-making for NCA, acting as the link between individual business partnering teams and senior leadership that oversees NCA as a whole.
In doing so, you will be accountable for delivering strategic insights, forecasting, and reporting to senior stakeholders - both within NCA and Global Head Office (NY) - to create commercial value.
Key will be collaborating effectively with other finance teams to understand all areas of the business before distilling their individual results into key narratives.
Crafting the ‘narrative’ of NCA’s results, both in terms of actual performance and forward-looking positions, and influencing how they are communicated to the Global Head Office in NY.
Assisting the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and Finance & Strategy Committee (F&S) with ‘big picture’ decision-making, such as assessing business/brand profitability and determining cost/stretch targets.
Partnering with the Strategy team to support the development and implementation of NCA strategy.
Developing a high-level view of every business area’s financial and commercial positions, including understanding the business from NY’s point of view, to anticipate implications for NCA as a whole.
Ensuring timely and accurate reporting of results, budgets, forecasts, insights, and analysis.
Taking ownership of maintaining the integrity of key FP&A systems.
Developing, inspiring, and managing a direct report to maximize team potential.
Identifying and implementing opportunities for continuous process improvement, automation, and standardized financial planning and reporting to deliver a best-practice finance function.
Who are you?8+ years of relevant experience, with post-graduate qualifications preferred (e.g., CA/CPA/CFA).
Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to translate financial results into business narratives and actionable insights.
Ability to see the 'bigger picture' while understanding supporting details, and a collaborative approach to building partnerships.
Strong stakeholder engagement, project management skills, and a self-starter attitude with accountability.
Intellectual curiosity, a willingness to ask questions to drive new thinking, and prior experience with TM1 or similar systems is advantageous.
