Digital Disbursements was acquired by Western Alliance Bank (NYSE:WAL) in January 2022 and operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of WAL.In this position, you will report to the Director of Strategic Partnerships and work directly with the CEO, President, Director of Strategic Partnerships, Director of Operations, Operations team, Data Scientist, CTO, and Technology team. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a company early and play a critical role in the company’s growth.Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of work experience in payments, banking, fraud detection, identity verification, and/or threat detectionHighly organized with exceptional problem-solving, decision-making and quantitative skillsComfort with ambiguity; strong judgment and ability to make well-informed decisions - displaying both high IQ and EQDoes not tolerate the status quoPersuasive communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to tailor communications to a broad range of audiencesAbility to build trust-based relationships and effectively collaborateSelf-starter who can identify problems, outline solutions, and drive executionWillingness to roll sleeves upAdvanced knowledge of MS office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, and PowerBI. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.Experience analyzing / summarizing large data setsInterest and passion for fintech a plus
What you'll need:
Work with CEO, President, Director of Strategic Partnerships, Director of Operations and Operations team to execute fraud analyses and continue the evolution of fraud tools includingCommunicate with clients regarding fraud analyses.Execute and manage fraud screening responsibilities. Collaborate with CEO, Director of Strategic Partnerships, CTO, and Data Scientist on continued evolution of fraud tools.Attend industry meetings and conferences when applicableIdentify potential problems and points of friction and work to find solutionsAbility to travel up to 5% of timeCompensation: Salary range for new hires is generally $169,000.00 - $175,000.00 for Los Angeles, CA. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned and restricted stock.Benefits you’ll love:
