When you join a Grasshopper product team in GoTo, you’ll take on a key role in this process and see your work be used by millions of users worldwide. **Your Day to Day** **As a Senior Frontend Developer, you would be working on** + Design, develop, maintain, and deploy world-class front-end/web & desktop applications with high degree of autonomy. + Develop responsive, intuitive, and engaging user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript/Typescript and modern frameworks. + Alongside your front end development team, lead the design of major components and features, investigate technical feasibility and suggest implementation options. + Work closely with key stakeholders such as Product Managers, UX Designers and Quality Engineers + Write clean, efficient, well-documented code to implement new features, enhancements, and bug fixes. Safely refactor legacy code when necessary. **What We’re Looking For** **As a Senior Frontend Developer your background will look like** + Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related engineering discipline or equivalent professional experience + 5+ years of engineering experience in the software industry + 3+ years of experience in front-end development + Proficiency in HTML, CSS, React, and Redux + Proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript + A strong understanding of web application architecture + Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development + Familiarity with version control tools like Git + Experience with front-end build tools (Webpack, Gulp, etc.). + Good English communication with desire to learn, Strong analytical and debugging skills + Desire to mentor and grow other engineers through code reviews, design reviews, and over-the-shoulder debugging.
