Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Reviews global service requirements and confirms lead time/delivery dates.Develops, maintains, and communicates Service Stocking Metrics, and ERP forecast based on the forecast, actual shipment and service demand.Serves as ERP subject matter expert for Plan to Deliver functions.  Will assist in training and helping others and will participate in and lead ERP optimization.Operates as main point of contact to triage issues encountered regarding production orders, storage locations, inventory management, etc.Participates in global & regional business unit meetings/calls to gather input and provide communication regarding order production status.Monitors, reconciles and communicates production and availability schedules based on overall backlog and customer readiness datesLeads production and shipment planning meetings with operations team.Communicates directly with suppliers, as needed, to manage return purchase orders to align with needs.Communicates directly with plant in China to manage stocking needs in Madison and requested stock transportsReviews and plans for major product changes and product introductions to ensure effective implementation and order production.Participates in product change control (ECO) planning to ensure timely implementation and minimal obsolescence.Supports process for excess and obsolescence reviews (E&O) and take appropriate actions, teaming with Supply Chain and Finance, to ensure minimal financial adjustment.Drives best practice globally across functions and regional business units.Performs other responsibilities as assigned by manager.

Qualifications:

a. Required

Associate’s degree and or/equivalent experience in production related position.5-7 years as Materials Planner and/or Master Scheduler.Demonstrated success in implementing best practices in Materials/Order Management.Excellent understanding and experience in ERP/MRP Systems and their manufacturing-related processes.Excellent verbal, written, and teamwork skills are required. Ability to work effectively cross- functionally and cross-regionally with a commitment to provide timely follow-up communication.Excellent problem-solving skills, including proven experience in use of problem-solving models.SAP Experience, focus area in production management and planning.Must have the ability to develop and maintain solid working relationships with Production, Test, Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing Engineering, Global and Regional Service teams.Must be self-motivated with high energy level, strong work ethic and sense of urgency.Strong customer (internal and external) satisfaction focus.Organizational leadership skills; aggressiveness in achieving results, yet sensitivity to the need for communicating effectively with other members of the team.Commitment to high standards of excellence and integrity.Strong understanding of quality assurance programs (ISO, FDA, and QSR).

b. Preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain management, or related field preferred.

Accuray Pay Transparency

The range for this position is $92,500 – $127,000 . Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, future potential and internal pay parity.  As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Accuray Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
