Senior Full Stack Developer

A Typical Day The Sr Full Stack Developer supports our Finance department and leads the development and maintenance of our critical in-house applications. This role requires a strong understanding of full-stack development principles, a proven track record of delivering high-quality software, and expertise in our technology stack: Ruby on Rails, Node.js, React, MS SQL Server, and AWS services. The Sr Full Stack Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying robust and scalable applications that directly support our financial operations. The Sr Full Stack Developer will: Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Ruby on Rails, Node.js, React, and related technologies Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to best practices and coding standards. Implement and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless data exchange between front-end and back-end systems Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the design of scalable and maintainable systems Design and optimize database schemas using MS SQL Server Write complex SQL queries and stored procedures for data retrieval and manipulation Deploy, manage, and monitor applications on AWS cloud services (e.g., EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda) Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members Monitor application performance and identify areas for improvement What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience 5+ years of relevant work experience in developing and deploying full-stack applications Proven experience in building and maintaining Ruby on Rails applications.
