About the team
At Payrix, we’re leading the charge in Payments Facilitation (PayFac) by delivering seamless and efficient solutions. As we continue to expand, our new team, focused on Chargebacks and ACH returns, is looking for a mid-level Software Engineer who’s ready to tackle the complexities of event-driven systems, data persistence, and microservices.
About the Role:
Our Transaction Monitoring team is at the forefront of ensuring secure, seamless transactions by monitoring for potential issues, fraud, or other risk-inducing events. We’re looking for a seasoned full-stack engineer who’s passionate about frontend development with Angular but is equally comfortable navigating the backend. If you’re someone who values collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning, this role is for you!
What You’ll Own:
As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer on our team, you’ll lead the charge in building intuitive, responsive user interfaces with Angular while supporting backend logic primarily in C#, with opportunities to leverage PHP and Node.js where needed. You’ll play a key role in creating highly reliable systems for real-time transaction monitoring, safeguarding the integrity and security of our platform. Your work will help provide critical insights into platform health, detect potential risks, and ensure a smooth, trustworthy experience for our users.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop frontend features and user interfaces in Angular, with a focus on usability and performance.Build and maintain backend components primarily in C# while also utilizing PHP and Node.js for specific integrations.Implement secure, event-driven architectures that can swiftly detect and respond to risk-prone transactions.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create scalable, full-stack solutions that enhance our transaction monitoring capabilities.Champion best practices in code quality, observability, and testability across both frontend and backend systems.What You Bring:
BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.5+ years of full-stack development experience, with a strong emphasis on Angular for frontend work.Proficiency in C# for backend development, with PHP and Node.js as valuable additional skills.A willingness and ability to learn new technologies as the needs of the team evolve.A passion for creating secure, high-quality systems and a keen eye for frontend details that enhance user experience.A collaborative, team-oriented attitude, and a positive outlook.Nice-to-Have Experience (not required):
Previous experience in transaction monitoring, fraud detection, or fintech-related areas.Familiarity with AWS services and scalable infrastructure solutions.
