Head of Integrated Reporting Tools

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will own the design of integrated reports & dashboards in FP&A and R2R area which will be used by global and local business users. The reports will be developed using SAP BW/4HANA, SAC & Non-SAP technologies and supports Finance organization of ABB for Management and external reporting.You will be responsible for defining and maintaining design of all management reporting reports and dashboards along with wider Finance process data and systems and IS teams of ABB.You will report to the Lead Data Architect Integrated Reporting with 1- 2 Junior Functional analyst who will look upon you for functional expertise and guidance: •\tBuilds function architecture design and specification including data framework for management reporting landscape of ABB. •\tInterprets data, analyzes results and provide guidance to the various delivery teams.•\tGuides on the building of reports and dashboards using best practices and intuitive visualization.•\tApplies innovation and creativity while ensuring a fine balance between overall time to market, costs, performance, scalability, and long-term technology stability of individual building blocks.•\tWork with business process owners to define new data requirement, collection and analysis processes.•\tKeeps the functional designs up to date with the new business demand and needs.•\tCollates and prioritizes business and domain/functional use-cases to architect and design solutions to meet business needs.•\tManages the functional design of user-friendly analytics insights by improving and adapting through continuous solutions delivery, through active feedback from customers and stakeholders.•\tEnsures customer centricity and service excellence for internal stakeholders, peers, and customers.•\tEnsures functional needs based on business requirements are met.•\tContributes to data Strategy and architecture discussions along with the wider Finance Process data and systems team. •\tSupports the validation and prioritization of incoming business demand, in collaboration with the relevant demand managers & Lead Architect.•\tDrives & performs data reconciliations and identifies the root cause and drives resolution with respective teams.•\tParticipates in broader solution development framework community of practices.

Qualifications for the role

Master’s degree in finance or computer science or related field.Minimum 10 Year of experience in FP&A and or R2R business process area, in large multinational, with a focus on analytics and data modeling in cloud environments.Have worked good knowledge to accounting principal using single Chart of account and applying US and local GAAP treatment in book of record. Understand IT processes including agile delivery and working in team of teams. Having exposure to non-SAP data analytics environment like Snowflake will be an advantage.Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development.Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SQL, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
