Job Description

      JOB SUMMARY

 

      Performs critical financial tasks, including standard calculation and analysis, inter/intra-company transaction reconciliation, and tax reporting. Leads the day-to-day operational accounting activities for the assigned manufacturing and company locations.

      JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Leads and promotes healthy and safe work practices as required by regulatory agencies and Company policy.Provide direct finance support to plant management as required.Maintains and reconciles fixed asset ledgers, including depreciation schedules and capital project reporting.Reviews and investigates inventory values for Atlas locations, making corrections with audit support to ensure compliance with industry regulations and provide support during internal and external audits.Responsible for the monthly financial close, completing all processes for assigned companies including journal entries, analytics, commentary, and reporting.Collaborates with Finance Team on preparations of budgeting and forecasting reports.Performs other duties as they might be assigned.Regular and predictable, full-time, on-site attendance during scheduled hours.

      EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or finance.5 year analytical experience, professionally designated accountant/final year candidate preferred. Some SAP experience preferred.
