We are seeking an experienced (Senior) GL Specialist  (m/f/d) to join our dynamic finance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to contribute significantly to our financial operations and reporting processes.

Responsibilities Responsible for execution of operational sub-processDrive the timely completion of monthly financial closing activitiesConduct in-depth balance sheet analyses and reconciliationsPrepare VAT declarations in compliance with regulatory requirementsMaintain General Ledger master data and ensure data integrityDeliver accurate and timely financial reportsAssists in implementation of activities to streamline and standardize operationsSupport financial statement preparation and reportingCollaborate with internal and external auditors during audit processesPartner with cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-makingAssists Team Lead as needed; participate in special projectsProactive resolution of day-to-day issues Qualifications

To be successful in the role we need you to:

Have Minimum 4 years of General Ledger experience required (former experience with US GAAP) Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting and Finance / ACCA/ SKWP coursesDemonstrate ability to communicate effectively and professionally in English and Germaan (B2 level)Very good knowledge of SAP ERP 
Have advanced computer proficiency with MS Office Suite including Excel expertiseDemonstrate ability to work on and own initiativesHave organizational skills, be open-minded and receptive to changeAssess situations to determine the importance, urgency and risks, then make clear and timely decisionsBe self-reliance and ability to escalate appropriatelyHave organizational skills, be open-minded and receptive to change.
