The Sr. General Manager, North America Commercial will lead Radiometer’s commercial business across the US and Canada, overseeing Sales, Marketing, Field Service, Tech Support, Customer Support and Commercial Excellence. This role is accountable for developing and driving the strategic plans to achieve sales targets, expand market share, and ensure profitability, while managing the commercial P&L and aiming for accelerated, double-digit growth. Additionally, this role represents the company to customers and distributors, ensures compliance, and collaborates with global internal stakeholders to align strategies and capitalize on emerging market opportunities.
This position is part of the North America Commercial Team located in Brea, California and will be preferably onsite in Brea where our US headquarters are located. At Radiometer, our vision is to improve global healthcare with reliable, fast, and easy patient diagnoses.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Provide vision, strategy and guidance to the commercial team to achieve revenue, margin, and expense objectives through flawless execution of growth using Danaher Business System (DBS) tools, sales funnel management, and action planning.
+ Design and implement accountability standards to set high performance expectations and achieve business objectives.
+ Foster a customer-centric culture focused on satisfaction, ethical practices, and continuous improvement, while instilling urgency and accountability within the sales organization.
+ Cultivate a positive work environment that respects individual differences and motivates team members to improve individual and team contributions, driving upper quartile engagement.
+ Evaluate organizational structure and roles to meet current and future customer demands and achieve aggressive growth, while building and mentoring a high-performance team.
+ Collaborate with Finance and executive leadership to set realistic revenue targets, conduct financial modeling, and optimize resource allocation through thorough analysis of sales expenses and regular revenue forecasting.
+ Partner with Global Marketing to develop and execute effective marketing campaigns, monitor market dynamics, and build strategic relationships with thought leaders and key external partners, ensuring adherence to industry regulations and trends.
The essential requirements of the job include:
+ Bachelor’s degree required with preference given to a major in medical science or business; MBA preferred.
+ 15+ years of solid, progressive commercial and P&L experience in healthcare or medical device organizations, with preference for backgrounds familiar with selling capital equipment with a consumable, software and services component
+ Demonstrated track record of driving profitable growth, customer experience and market share growth.
+ Both strategic and tactical capabilities, can analyze the market, competitors and company strengths and weaknesses while creating winning sales strategies
+ Excellent analytical skills and solid business acumen with ability to balance the needs of the marketplace with sound business judgment
+ Proven leadership capability. Relentlessly attracts, engages and develops people; can cultivate teams quickly and build strong relationships by establishing significant credibility, trust and support within their team, customers, as well as being able to develop strong followership within the commercial organization.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
+ Ability to travel both domestic and international, between 30% - 50%
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
+ Experience in the hospital acute care market
+ Highly effective interpersonal skills and executive presence with an ability to work with people at multiple levels both inside and outside of Danaher
The salary range for this role is $290,000 - $310,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
