**How you’ll make an impact:**
+ Show deep understanding of the accounting structure – accruals; prepayments; loans & interests; IC AR/AP; fixed asset, leasing, inventory etc. Responsible for preparation and processing month-end journal entries; balance sheet account reconciliations; ad hoc projects. Maintain the integrity of the financial ledgers and understand fully all accounts and inputs.
+ Cooperate with other departments (e.g. FP&A, AP, Customer Service, Country finance teams, etc.) to provide analysis over reported numbers (e.g., accounting metrics, financial tracking on big projects).
+ Responsible for compliance activities (e.g., SOX, US GAAP financials) to develop explanations for internal and external auditors and fulfill their requirements. Ensure that all entries and reconciliations are kept in accordance with internal procedures.
+ Ensure Edwards compliance by applying knowledge of applicable regulations (e.g., SOX, US GAAP financials, SEC, IRS) to develop explanations for internal and external auditors.
+ May participate in process improvement projects.
**What you'll need (Required):**
+ University Degree and 5+ years of experience in Finance/Accounting/ Audit
+ Proficiency in English
**What else we look for (Preferred):**
+ Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, predominantly Excel.
+ Substantial knowledge of accounting principles and financial concepts (US GAAP/IFRS, SOX)
+ Knowledge of any ERP systems e.g. JDE, SAP etc.
+ Excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinking
+ Ability to work independently and proactive approach and ability to learn
+ Strict attention to detail
+ Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
