The Work You'll Do:
As a Senior Global Account Manager at Sovos, you will collaborate with a global team to address critical customer needs. You will be responsible for promoting and selling Sovos products to existing clients while managing and growing business in an emerging global market. This role requires the development and execution of a comprehensive sales engagement strategy, including prospecting and managing a customer-centric sales process. Success in this position involves supporting multiple global accounts with an Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) of over $1 million, accurately managing the sales pipeline, meeting or exceeding commitments on a monthly and quarterly basis, and handling large, complex sales cycles with a high success rate in closing late-stage deals.
More specifically, you will:
Drive profitable new business revenue growth in the assigned territory, meeting and exceeding revenue targets and quotas. Maintain a balanced pipeline across assigned accounts, achieving new business revenue growth while managing existing responsibilities. Build a track record of consistent performance and accountability using multiple sales approaches to manage complex sales within large enterprises. Exhibit a strong drive for success with a relentless focus on achieving goals. Provide accurate and detailed sales data in Salesforce.com. Act with integrity and uphold ethical standards in all interactions. Take ownership of internal and external customer satisfaction. Demonstrate initiative, drive, and determination to achieve success and professional growth. Maintain high levels of energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to achieving results. Exhibit self-awareness and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.What We Need From You
5+ years of experience in quota-carrying sales, preferably in tech/SaaS, with a track record of exceeding targets. Proven success in selling large enterprise deals ($250K+), managing complex sales cycles, and engaging senior executives. Experience with Salesforce.com and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Moderate travel (less than 50%), both domestically and internationally. Strong verbal and written communication skills. At Sovos, we are committed to offering competitive pay and benefits that reflect both industry and market standards.
We expect that this role will pay a base salary of $120,000 annually; with a target annual commission of $100,000. Our quota carrying sales roles offer uncapped commission opportunities, which will impact the total compensation one will earn each year. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience. Our quota carrying team members in our go to market organization also have the chance to earn additional incentives, including a trip to President’s Club.
