What impact you’ll make

As a member of the North American Global Law & Policy team, you will work and advise on government opportunities and projects for Gas Power and contribute to the development and enhancement of innovative gas and aero-derivative power generation technology that produces cleaner, more efficient power people depend on today across the globe.

Lawyers and non-lawyers supporting the commercial and government side of the business including contract development and agreement management, external government cooperatives, grants, sales of products and services. Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.

Job Description

What you’ll do

Work alongside Sr. Government Counsel in the management of Gas Power’s Government Center of Excellence, and support engineering, North American Legal, Sales/Commercial, Finance, Compliance and Human Resources regarding US Government, state and local municipality contracting matters;Advise on requirements for grants, cooperative agreements, and other contracts with US Government agencies;Review and draft responses to grant and cooperative agreement applications in connection with Gas Power commercial and engineering teams, and advise on contracts and subawards in connection with grants and cooperative agreements awarded to Gas Power;Oversee compliance with Gas Power contractual obligations with US Government;Research Pubklaw bi-weekly for updates on US Government Executive Orders, regulations, and administrative rulings;Manage requests in connection with public filings and from Gas Power leadership requests concerning Gas Power’s government contracting;Help develop and maintain database of information on Gas Power state, local and federal contracts, grants, and cooperatives, including coordinating with Sales, Operations and Finance on status of contracts with state, federal and local government;Assist in ensuring compliance with applicable Executive Orders impacting Gas Power operations;Assist in training U.S. Gas Power on contracting with Governments

What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)

Bachelor of Arts or Sciences degree from accredited college or universityAt least six (6) years of experience working on US Government grants, cooperative agreements, and contractsSufficient experience, knowledge, and skills on FAR, DFAR and DEAR; BAA, TAA, Executive Orders, new Regulations and negotiating and revising contract terms and conditionsExperience working with contract terms and conditions, risk mitigation and the ability to draft contract provisions

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $126,300.00 - 210,500.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, geographic location, and skill set.  
This position is also eligible for a 15% annual performance bonus. This position will stay open on the career website until at least 10/2/2024.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%,120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
