Salary range: $78K to $89K*

Position Overview:
The Senior Graphic Designer is responsible for the creation and implementation of visual designs and assets for Vibrant Emotional Health, 988, and other Vibrant properties. The designer will create branded assets for both internal communications and public use, including but not limited to: print and digital annual reports, toolkits, website and social media graphics, email/newsletter assets, branded presentations, banners, signage, postcards, paid media/ads, and designs for promotional materials for conferences and other events. The designer will help lead branding efforts and build best practices/processes for print and digital design.
Duties/Responsibilities:
+ Collaborates with the creative team to concept and execute designs across various channels and multiple brands. Works on design asks for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, ad campaigns, partnerships, internal/external communications and more, covering Vibrant Emotional Health, 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, the Disaster Distress Helpline, the Veterans Crisis Line, the NFL Life Line as well as other Vibrant properties.
+ Designs compelling logos, email headers, blog post graphics, newsletters, infographics, one/multi-pagers, brochures, presentation decks, reports, and other deliverables for various cross-functional teams
+ Participates in campaign brainstorming sessions; contributes creative ideas and execute upon those ideas.
+ Manage project files, ensuring all assets, working files and deliverables are organized and easy to locate.
+ Stays up-to-date with technological developments in the design field. Leverages artificial intelligence (AI) and/or scripts/plugins when appropriate.
+ Helps develop and maintain branding guidelines, continuously pushing branding and creative exploration.
+ Builds/organizes animation-ready static assets for hand-off to Motion Designer
+ Additional duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
+ Well-rounded understanding of digital and print design, strong typography skills, solid grasp of social media/digital standards. Ability/interest in illustration is preferred.
+ Highly skilled in industry-standard software, particularly Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Google Slides/Microsoft PowerPoint. Working knowledge of Figma is required.
+ Knowledge of print production best practices and preparing files for both digital and print production, including understanding of color spaces, margins/bleed, resolution, etc.
+ Experience with creating co-branded designs and materials for partnerships
+ Understands how to build animation/motion-design-ready static assets and how to organize layers/files for optimal hand-off to motion designers
+ Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight turn-arounds with minimal supervision is a must. Able to handle revision requests.
+ Some understanding or interest in motion design, video production/editing would be a bonus, but not required
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent in graphic design, multimedia design, visual communications, or other related field, plus 5-10+ years of experience in graphic design or related field.
+ Experience working with sensitive messaging and subject matter. Previous work or volunteer experience with a mental health non-profit is helpful, but not required.
+ Creative agency experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
+ Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
+ Will constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer
+ Will frequently communicate over video calls with internal and external stakeholders
