Lithia & Driveway | Senior Brand Designer

Location: Remote or Hybrid (PST preferred)

Compensation: $60,000-$80,000 annually

The Driveway Marketing Senior Brand Designer will work closely with teammates to build brand assets for both internal and customer-facing uses. This role will be exposed to a wide variety of project types and mediums, with a focus on digital design asset creation. Help grow and elevate the Driveway and GreenCars brands with your contributions and design thinking.

Responsibilities

Design solutions and general creative assets on behalf of both the Driveway and GreenCars brands, working within their brand guidelines.Collaborate with the Creative Design Manager, Marketing Producer, and Copywriters, to create successful outcomes.Own creative projects from start to finish, coordinating with the Marketing Producer to deliver work on time.Define project goals, success metrics, and strategy for each project, in collaboration with any other responsible team members assigned to the project.Design a mix of internal and customer facing deliverables, project responsibilities include:Social and display graphicsDriveway.com website graphicsDriveway customer communication emails and graphicsCustom graphics to support internal and external campaigns Internal newsletters and email announcementsInternal campaigns for various departments and employee groupsPhysical store signage and interior design display graphicsPeriodic graphic design requests from other Driveway departmentsResponsible for keeping creative asset libraries up to date.Support design operations to improve, maintain and document the processes and tools the team uses.Help elevate the Driveway and GreenCars brands with your contributions in both successful projects and brand vision and ideation.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in graphic design, or another related field.7+ years of experience in an agency or in-house creative role, with a portfolio showing work from the past 4 years' experience.Computer fluency in Mac OS running Adobe Creative Suite and Figma applications.Expert knowledge of core design skills; typography, layout, hierarchy, alignment, and balance.  Well versed in working within design systems and or brand guidelines, and with developing new design systems.Experienced with brand design, having participated in, or led multiple successful branding projects.Strong visual communication and storytelling skills that can render dense content as easy to understand for non-designers.Can manage one’s tasks, document progress, and be accountable for deadlines.Understand what is needed to move work forward, get the necessary approvals and buy-in from stakeholders.Solid communication skills to collaborate and within the broader Marketing team, and to present your concepts, concerns, and ideas.Illustration and motion design skills are a plus but not required.Opportunities for branding projects are likely, particularly for internal use.We offer best in class industry benefits:Competitive pay Medical, Dental and Vision PlansPaid Holidays & PTOShort and Long-Term DisabilityPaid Life Insurance401(k) Retirement PlanEmployee Stock Purchase PlanLithia Learning CenterVehicle Purchase DiscountsWellness Programs
