**To perform well in the role, we imagine that your responsibilities will be twofold:**
**Financial reporting & controlling**
Being responsible for several financial statement areas and entities, you carry out the monthly controlling for these financial statement areas and entities just as you will conduct controller visits.
In other words, your time is spent analyzing financial information and providing professional advice and recommendations across many financial reporting and accounting aspects, as you will:
+ Deliver key inputs and analysis for internal/external reporting and decision-making purposes and make recommendations to senior management based on your analysis
+ Take joint responsibility for continuously automating and optimizing our global processes, e.g. procedures related to financial controlling and monthly reporting
+ Participate in the group closing process and understand the flow from entity reporting to consolidated reporting
+ Be responsible for cross-Group controlling and analysis of specific accounting areas
+ Lead/participate in cross-functional projects or initiatives to ensure financial excellence
+ Be part of the monthly consolidation process and other consolidation related tasks (example system implementation/maintenance/superuser)
**IFRS and reporting**
+ Provide technical accounting advice to the business
+ Prepare technical accounting supporting memos
+ Assist in the preparation of the external Group Quarterly Interim and Annual Financial Reports
+ Complete monthly Group reporting activities, such as cash flow preparation
+ Key contact for external auditors in delivery of group requirements and day-to-day audit deliverable management

You are the first to take initiative and thrive in a position where your judgements are trusted. You take an organized approach to your tasks, and you are thorough, yet you can prioritize where it is best to put your efforts.
**Moreover, you have a keen sense of quality, and you:**
+ hold a master’s degree in finance within business administration & auditing, finance, accounting, or similar
+ have some years of experience from an international auditing firm or from a large international company
+ have knowledge of IT systems and applications, and experience with some of the following systems Microsoft Dynamics, Navision or OneStream is a benefit
+ speak and write fluent English
+ proficient project management skills and the ability to work on your own and execute on own tasks including managing stakeholders
+ are willing to travel a few times annually to visit our foreign subsidiaries
