Gannett Fleming TranSystems is seeking a Senior Highway Engineer/Project Manager for our Columbus or Cleveland, OH offices. In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping and improving roadway infrastructure that directly impacts your community’s safety, connectivity, and quality of life.

Responsiblities:
Perform engineering design tasks for roadway projects from preliminary to final design on both traditional design/bid/build and design/build contractsDevelop specifications, cost estimates, and prepare final bid packagesPrepare plans required for construction of projectsReview roadway and other highway related designsPrepare reports required by the project development processComplete tasks with multi-disciplined teamsAssist in writing proposalsDevelop cost proposalsManage projects in accordance with Gannett Fleming TranSystems’s ISO 9001:2008 Certified Quality Management SystemFoster client relationshipsMinimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is requiredLicensed Professional Engineer in the State of Ohio or the ability to become registered in 6-12 monthsMinimum of 10+ years of related highway design experienceFamiliarity with AASHTO and OMUTCD standardsPrior design experience with Ohio Department of Transportation and/or Ohio Local projectsHands on experience using CADD/Design Software (OpenRoads or Civil 3D) requiredStrong written and oral communication skillsFor more than 100 years, we’ve been a leader in global infrastructure solutions with a focus on planning, design, technology, and construction management services for a diverse array of markets and disciplines.
