As a member of the Computing, Environmental, Life Sciences (CELS) Systems High Performance Computing (HPC) team, you will participate in the technical operation, support, and continued development of the high-performance computing (HPC) facilities. These HPC facilities serve the entire Laboratory in order to enhance the productivity of the scientific staff and their research colleagues, with technical staff and colleagues at other National Labs and Universities. You will also assist with the coordination of similar systems at the Laboratory, a special emphasis of this position is in configuring and maintaining the Laboratory Computing Resource Center (LCRC) systems and storage, creating technical documentation for end-users and internal use, and providing technical support to the users of the LCRC resources.
This position will have a hybrid work arrangement with an estimated 1-2 days+ onsite in the Lemont campus based on work responsibilities.

This position can be hired at one of two levels; the selected candidate will be placed at the appropriate level (PT3 or PT4) dependent upon the depth and breadth of relevant knowledge and skills. The minimum requirements of the two levels are as follows:
