Senior HR Business Associate

McGraw Hill is looking for a Senior HR Business Associate to join our Human Resources team and support the K12 School business team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing HR duties and collaborating with HR Business Partners and HR Communities of Expertise to implement HR strategies. You will be joining a collaborative, cross-functional HR team. This role reports to the HR Director for our K12 School team and works remotely from a home office. This role travels to meeting 3-4 times per year. Candidates must permanently reside within the United States to be eligible for this role. A typical day may include: HR Support: Collaborate with Business HR Partners and HR COEs to support and execute HR initiatives. Performance Management: Work with Business HR Partners and HR COEs to implement performance management programs and provide guidance to managers and employees on performance-related issues. HR Policy Implementation: Awareness of all HR Policy to partner with Business HR Partner, as needed. Talent Acquisition & Retention: Coordinate with HR COEs and Managers on recruiting and retaining talent, including competitive compensation practices. Business Support: Through partnership with COEs and HR Partner, analyze HR metrics to support strategic decisions to improve business outcomes. We’re looking for someone with: Bachelor’s degree in a human resources field or equivalent experience. 5 years of human resources experience including solid understanding of HR best practices and employment laws Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and cultural awareness Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality Proficiency with Workday, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office Suite Strong presentation skills and the ability to influence Initiative, attention to detail, independent and collaboration skills Preferred: Experience with Workday and an understanding of compensation practices SHRM-CP certification or equivalent certification The pay range for this position is between $62,000-$98,000 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
