Now, we’re growing our Bluehost team in Cebu and are seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to help shape our HR strategy, build culture, and support our dynamic workforce. This is a key leadership role driving HR operations for our growing Philippines-based team. 

What you’ll do & how you’ll make your mark 

Reporting to the HR Business Partner Director, you will lead the Cebu-based HR function for Bluehost and be a strategic partner to business leaders, ensuring our local policies and practices align with both global frameworks and Philippine labor standards. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, matrixed organization and is excited about building strong teams and culture. 

In this role, you will: 

Act as the primary point of contact for HR-related matters within the assigned business unit. 

Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders, offering professional advice and expertise as a trusted HR partner. 

Engage managers to provide leadership and guidance on country-specific policies and processes. 

Use HR data to identify trends, recommend actions, and support strategic decisions. 

Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws and proactively assess risks. 

Manage the local HR budget and contribute to employee wellbeing initiatives. 

Proactively support business teams in setting and achieving performance goals, and partner with line management to address performance issues and provide guidance on performance improvement. 

Lead local talent initiatives, including succession planning and high-potential development programs. 

Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to align recruitment strategies, assist with candidate selection, and ensure a smooth onboarding process. 

Partner on training programs to address skill gaps, promote continuous learning, and measure the impact of development initiatives. 

Coach management on employee relations issues, discipline, and personnel changes. 

Who you are & what you’ll need to succeed. 

Strong HR leadership experience in the Philippines, ideally with 5-10 years in a multinational or tech-focused environment. 

Deep knowledge of Philippine labor laws and HR best practices. 

Excellent communication skills 

A strategic thinker with strong problem-solving, people management, and influencing skills. 

Proven experience in handling sensitive HR matters with discretion and professionalism. 

Experience with shared services and cross-functional collaboration in a global setup. 

Proficiency in MS Office; HRIS experience is a plus. 

A bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field is required; certifications (e.g., SHRM, CHRP) are a plus.
